- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH ANIMALS.
- Able to take history, present estimates to clients and answer basic questions (vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, lab results) - Ability to learn quickly and work well with clients in stressful and emotional circumstances - Able to prep the patient for surgery and assist doctor's exam and surgery -Able to work weekend and holidays (flexibility is required.
But we can accommodate work schedule for your school or other responsibilities) - Able to restrain dogs and cats -Able to dose medication and dispense correctly - Able to bathe and walk dogs and cats - Able to clean and organize the hospital - Ability to follow instructions properly - Respect others/ be a team player - Able to meet the physical demands (Ex.
lift up to 40lbs pet) - a certificate from a Veterinary Assistant program is a plus.
