30 pm Monday - Friday COMPANY DESCRIPTION Impact Housing is a Southern California-based company that is designing and building multifamily and mixed-use attainable housing.
The company is employing innovative off-site modular design to address today's housing crisis with an integrated design, development, manufacturing, and construction process.
POSITION SUMMARY The ideal candidate should possess knowledge and experience in the trade.
We're looking for people to lead in one of the two phases of the construction process.
Either Phase one which is everything from foundation thru drywall or Phase two which is everything past the drywall to completion of the home.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS Essential skills Knowing and understanding blueprints, building plans and specifications Framing floors, walls, roofs, and decks Install sub-flooring and underlayment Installing mechanical, electrical & plumbing rough & finish materials Installing windows and exterior doors Excavations on small foundations and pads (a plus) Form and pour small foundations and pads (a plus) Clean and inspect work areas Supervise all work done by subs and internal team Essential skills for phase two (finish):
Knowing and understanding blueprints, building plans and specifications Install hardware on doors, windows, and cabinets Patch and texture drywall Caulking and touch up paint Installing cabinetry, millwork, and interior doors Finish plumbing & electrical work Install and connect appliances Clean and inspect work areas Supervise all work done by subs and internal team Education:
High School Diploma preferred but not required Duties and Responsibilities Extensive knowledge of power tools, including skill saw, miter saw and jigsaw Possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation to job sites Capable of climbing on ladders and carrying at least 80 pounds Knowledge of lumber grades, hardware, rough & finish materials Required Skills/Abilities Extensive knowledge of power tools, including skill saw, miter saw, jigsaw Ability to follow instructions from Supervisor and Senior Managers Knowledge of general carpentry and repair Ability to use hand tools and power tools Good hand-eye coordination Ability to meet physical demands of the job Excellent organizational and time management skills Home improvement, construction, finish carpentry, site planning experience preferred Work Authorization All prospective Impact Housing employees need to demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.

Prolonged periods standing and walking Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces Must be able to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 80 lbs.
